There are three puppets with different control techniques and one actress in the "living plan». Woman and Man are large 8-meter metal-framed puppets. Operated by cranes and 14 puppeteers. Predator is a puppet with the metal frame 3.5 meters high and 12 meters long, controlled on a wheeled base. |

We defined this as one of the tasks of the performance - to slow down the spectator, to slow him down for at least an hour. I saw it yesterday at the festival in Elagin Park. It is something unbelievable! At first I was delighted by the well-coordinated work of all the people who put the figures in motion, the light and music, but then I stopped noticing the people. The characters came to life in my imagination, I was watching the creeping monster with a sinking heart, I felt with horror the nightmare of what had happened together with the Woman, I was watching her motherhood with tenderness... I had never seen anything like that before. Thank you for the idea, the realization and the opportunity to see such a performance. Good luck in all your endeavors!
That's the kind of theater you go for: one that makes you marvel, admire, ponder, empathize, that doesn't leave you indifferent! I admire everyone's work, the idea itself, the plot, the coordinated work of the actors who brought the characters to life, the fluidity of their movements, the light and especially the music. I am telling everyone about you today) Bravo!!!
When we saw the figures in the afternoon, lying in piles of metal, at first we thought of an action in the spirit of promenade inflatable bears (also a very cute and fun game for children). But your play was the culmination of a long and bizarre day, and the woman's scream at the sight of tragedy - still stands in the mind.

Hi. I want to thank you so much for such a powerful work! What a POWERFUL PERFORMANCE!!! You are magicians! To bring such giant puppets to life and how else....It's impossible to tear yourself away from the action! You are immersed in such different emotions! Somewhere creepy to the point of shivers, at times just stupor from the horror! How smoothly all the actors work! Great job! I've never seen anything like this! Thank you, creators of beautiful!

It's cool. I love director Yuri Butusov, MDT, the New Stage of Alexandrinsky. Now there's also the Vokrug theater. I think there's a simple secret in all these cases: in addition to engineering, machinery, and video installations you have to put in your soul and talent. There are a lot of cases where there is nothing behind just a picture or an experimental format, it's not about you.
A very heartfelt, special, thoughtful performance. I admired the work of the engineers, the selection of costumes, the silent acting of actors. Their inconspicuousness completely skewed the focus on the characters, who were not people, not puppets, but naked feelings. A charming and profound picture. Thank you!
